Château Rochebelle

The Rochebelle estate is another of those vineyards straight out of movie. Beautiful surroundings, slightly run down and with a generous and warm greeting. As he walked us from the shaded car park into a small tasting room, our host explained that he was from two generations of winemakers at Rochbelle. 

He led us through the tasting of the estates 2016 rosé which comprised 30% mourvèdre, with an equal amount of grenache and cinsault plus 10% of carigan, making a gentle and well-rounded.

Tried tasted and purchased the 2016 Bandol Rosé (500ml) at €6.00/bottle.

Destination, drop-in or drive by?Destination. This vineyard is one of the nicest on the tour with lovely wine and host.
